Cookie Policy
FrameHoist uses one sign-in cookie and one stored display setting. We use no analytics, advertising or tracking technology.

1. What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small text files that a website asks your browser to keep. Local storage is a similar place in your browser where a site can save a small value. Both can keep you signed in or remember a choice. This policy covers FrameHoist at https://framehoist.com, operated by {{LEGAL ENTITY}}. For how we handle personal data generally, see the Privacy Policy.
2. What we use
Swipe sideways to see all columns.
| Name | Type | Purpose | Details | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|---|
framehoist_session | Cookie, strictly necessary | Keeps you signed in. Set only after you sign in or sign up. | First party. HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax. Holds a random token; only its hash is stored on our server. | 30 days, or until you sign out |
theme | Local storage, preference | Remembers whether you chose the dark or light colour theme. | First party. Stays on your device and is not sent to our server. | No expiry. Stays until you clear it. |
The session cookie is strictly necessary for the sign-in you request, so it does not need your consent. The theme value is a display preference that stays in your browser.
3. Third-party cookies
- Stripe. When you pay, you are sent to a Stripe checkout page. Stripe may set its own cookies and use local storage on its domain for fraud prevention and payment security, under its own policies. We do not control them.
- Cloudflare. Cloudflare delivers and protects the site. It may set technical cookies or storage for security and delivery. We do not use them for tracking.
4. What we do not use
- No analytics cookies or analytics scripts.
- No advertising or retargeting cookies, and no tracking pixels.
- No social media cookies or embedded social widgets.
- No fingerprinting or other technique that identifies your device without cookies.
5. Consent and the banner
Because we use only a strictly necessary cookie and a display preference, and no non-essential cookies, we do not show a cookie consent banner. If we ever add non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent first, before setting them, and update this page.
6. How to clear or block them
- Signing out removes the
framehoist_sessioncookie. You can also delete cookies and site data for https://framehoist.com in your browser settings (usually under Privacy or Site data). - Clearing site data also removes the saved
themevalue, and the site returns to its default theme. - You can block cookies in your browser. If you block the session cookie, you cannot stay signed in and cannot use credits. Reading the public pages does not need any cookie.
7. Changes and contact
We will update this policy and its date when our use of cookies or storage changes. Questions? Email support@framehoist.com or use the contact page.
